The course provides students with knowledge in the field of industrial processes used to capture carbon dioxide from gaseous mixtures and from flue gas, its subsequent cleaning and processing into a form suitable for long-term underground storage, or in a form suitable for use as raw material in the chemical and food industries. By completing the course, the student will gain an overview of the ecological use of fuels, which minimizing greenhouse gas production and creating the basis for sustainable energy production.
