The content of the course is an overview and examples of studies, which can be used with relatively high accuracy to estimate the nutritional status of the population or a specifically selected segment of the population and targeted any nutritional intervention. The second part of the course is devoted to the work of global, European and national organizations dealing with nutrition.

To characterize the design and purpose of epidemiological and clinical studies used to assess nutritional status

Assess the importance of widespread nutritional interventions, health promotion projects and individual nutritional support

Characterize and critically evaluate the research activities of national and international organizations dealing with nutrition
