1. Introduction to algorithmization and software engineering, application examples in the control of chemical, food and biotechnological processes. 2. Computer program development: source code; pre-processor; translator; code translation phase; language interpreter; GUI design and implementation. 3. Versioning, debugging and testing code: the Git open versioning system; proprietary versioning systems. 4. Operating system: general structure of the operating system; kernel; drivers; graphic subset. 5. Programming languages I; types of programming language and their extensions; application of programming in solving various problems. 6. Programming languages II; integrated development environments, compilers, forms of writing program code; teaching of programming languages at the UCT Prague. 7. Equipment for data acquisition and processing 8. Signal sampling: sampling period; sampling theorem; A/D and D/A converters; digital filtering (median and exponential filters; moving average). 9. Environment for data collection and processing; industrial process control software; HMI; SCADA. 10. Modelling and computer simulations of processes I: mathematical model; general introduction to modelling; simulation of chemical and food operations. 11. Modelling and computer simulations of processes II: computational clusters and supercomputers; use in industrial applications and in the prediction of events and phenomena. 12. Security in industrial networks; symbiosis of communication and industrial networks; examples of industrial network topology solutions; the future and direction of cybernetics. 13.
