The course develops communication skills and vocabulary for students on the B2 CEFR level. Attention will be paid to vocabulary, grammar and functional language related to the field of economics, management, and business. The course focuses on developing all language skills including speaking, listening, writing, and reading. Covered topics include Corporate Culture, Finance, Digital Business, Performance, Ethics, and Time Management. Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to accurately use selected grammar and lexical units, write shorter texts, work with specialized texts, and manage information with different speakers. The course also develops students’ intercultural awareness and fosters autonomous learning.

Předmětové portfolio se skládá ze dvou hlavních částí: a) aktivit, které student vypracovává v průběhu semestru na základě instrukcí od vyučujícího, a b) závěrečného testu.

a) Aktivity zpracovávané v průběhu semestru zahrnují:

1) Video presentaci „Presenting yourself“ vypracovanou na základě zadání podle Business Partner B2;

2) Týmovou prezentaci „Project presentation“ vypracovanou na základě projektového zadání podle Business Partner B2, nebo podle zadání projektových modulů;

3) Písemné shrnutí (Summary) na základě zadání,

4) Business terminology list skládající se odborných slovních spojení v profesionálním kontextu na základě témat a lekcí v předmětu.

b) Závěrečný test
