Annotation -
Pharmacoeconomics is a relatively new field of science, which emerged as a hybrid field of medical sciences, pharmacy and economic disciplines. By implementing this field into health and medicine policy, individual states strive to ensure the availability of necessary and high-quality medicines for the population at a reasonable cost. The course teaches students to integrate economic principles into decision-making in the pharmaceutical industry. This gives students at the ICT the opportunity to combine their professional technical or technological knowledge with aspects of managerial economics and management. The education of such students is of great social importance.
