Students will be able to:

• Process information provided both in written and spoken forms and respond to it

• Describe a process, work with data using graphs and diagrams

• Give a presentation on a topic related to the student's field of study

• Work with specialized texts, analyze texts and audio materials

Studenti budou umět :

• vyhodnotit informace získané písemnou a ústní formou a reagovat na ně jak ústně, tak písemně

• popsat proces, pracovat s grafickým znázorněním dat

• prezentovat odborné téma, jež se vztahuje ke studovanému oboru

• pracovat s odborným textem, interpretovat texty a poslechové materiály

In order to complete the course and receive the credit, students must acquire 50 points out of a total of 70 points. The points are awarded for passing the end-of-term test (max. 50 pts), working actively in lessons (max. 10 pts), preparing and giving a minipresentation (max. 3 pts) and doing assigned homework (max. 7 pts).

The course is completed with an exam consisting of two parts. In the oral part, students have to prove they are able to understand and discuss a scientific article presented to them. The other part of the exam is giving a presentation on a scientific topic and dealing with questions. Before taking the exam, students must complete both the OAJ A and OAJ B courses.

K udělení zápočtu je nutné získat 50 bodů z celkových 70 bodů. Body student získá za napsání zápočtového testu (max. 50 b.), aktivní účast v hodinách (max. 10 b.), přípravu a odprezentování miniprezentace (max. 3 b.) a domácí přípravu (max. 7 b.).

Předmět je zakončen zkouškou, která se skládá z ústní části a z prezentace. V ústní části studenti musí prokázat schopnost prezentovat odborné téma a zodpovědět dotazy a dále porozumět neznámému odbornému textu a diskutovat o něm. Před složením zkoušky je nutné mít splněný zápočet z OAJ A a OAJ B.

Ústní zkouška se skládá z prezentace na odborné téma v rozsahu 7 - 10 minut a z práce s odborným textem.
