The course provides students the basic information about zeolites and molecular sieves. The main part of the course is focused on structure, synthesis and properties of the zeolites, mesoporous molecular sieves and organic-inorganic molecular sieves type Metal-organic frameworks. The basic experimental techniques which are used to characterization of molecular sieves are also discussed. The final part of the course is aimed on the use of zeolites in adsorption and catalysis, both in the laboratory and industrial scale.
Aim of the course -
