Annotation -
The course is focused to the use of software simulators (Aspen Hysys) for calculations of refinery and petrochemical processes. It includes an introduction to engineering simulations and exercises aimed to specific operations and stream properties in petroleum processing.

Learning outcomes - Czech

Studenti budou umět:

Využít možnosti moderních softwarových nástrojů pro modelování a simulaci chemicko-technologických procesů.

Modelovat jednodušší technologickou jednotku, volit vhodné výpočetní metody.

Použít sestavený model pro sledování vlivu procesních parametrů na výtěžky, kvalitu produktů a další proměnné.

Optimalizovat některé parametry procesů.
