Engineering of the natural gas transmission and distribution pipelines. State behavior and transport properties of natural gas, flow in pipeline. Pressure control, Joule-Thomson phenomenon, gas heating before the pressure regulation. Pipeline system operation and corresponding cashflows. Financing and repayment of the construction and operation of pipeline.
Aim of the course -
Last update: KOZAV (11.03.2014)

Students will be able: to calculate state behaviour of the natural gas and flow of gas in pipelines; to design the gas pressure regulation including gas preheating; to understand the financial flows in pipeline construction, gas transmission and distribution.
