The topic of the module can be divided into two parts, which are closely connected. Concerning the first part of the module, students will learn the trends leading to the provision of sustainable development of chemical technologies with emphasis on energetic demands, safety, minimization of side products, waste treatment and raw material recycling. The second part is aimed at the contemporary state in utilization of alternative energy sources with stress to wind and solar energy and application of hydrogen as an energy carrier.
