The subject gives a basic survey of composite materials. These materials are divided into three groups: metal matrix composites, polymer matrix composites and ceramic matrix composites. The most important properties, production methods and applications are described for all three groups of composites.
Aim of the course -
Last update: Pátková Vlasta (04.01.2018)

Students will be able to:

Describe basic overview of composite materials with metal, polymer and ceramic matrix.

Understand the methods of composite materials production.

Apply the composite materials in practice.
