Annotation -
The course is focused on waste characterization, sampling, pre-treatment and treatment of samples, their processing and analysis of components limited in legislative regulations and other methods of matrices characterization. Theoretical principles, instrumentation and practical design of tests according to standardized and modified methods, expression of results and their interpretation are explained.

Aim of the course -

Students will be able to choose and implement appropriate methodology of pre-treatment, treatment and processing of waste samples; to analyse the relevant parameters; to independently evaluate and interpret the results of tests; to work with the concerned legislation.

Course completion requirements -

Students have to obtain a credit and pass the final exam. To obtain credit, students have to pass credit test. The credit is obligatory condition for admission to the final exam. The final exam will consist of two parts - a written test and an oral exam.
