Annotation -
The subject "Biopharmaceuticals" is dedicated to a general description of rapidly developing field of pharmaceutical industry to the students. In the general part of the course, attention will be paid to the differences in the production of small molecules and proteins, after that different types of biodrugs (hormones, enzymes, cytokines, antibodies, vaccines and gene therapies) and their indications will be discussed.
