Annotation -
The course is focused on overall description of infectious agents and their properties and effect of antibiotics and synthetic anti-infective agents as well as action of immune systems on microorganisms. Attention is paid to the sources of microbial contamination and methods of eliminating undesired microorganisms from the pharmaceutical products and processing environment.
