The aim of the specialized laboratories is to provide the practical experience and knowledges required from electroanalytical methods in the laboratory and scientific praxis. The electroanalytical methods will be applied for analysis of the various kind of samples and for the characterization of new materials suitable for the development of electrochemical sensors Students will understand the significance of electrode material, electrode construction and measurement conditions for analytical application of electrochemical methods. Laboratory tasks that will be solved by students reflect the main trends observed in the field of modern electrochemistry.These laboratories are combined with lecture course Electroanalytical Methods (M402003).

Results:

to understand the basic principles of electroanalytical methods including their advantages and disadvantages;

to handle instrumentation of used electroanalytical methods;

to chose and apply electroanalytical methods for determining of certain samples (pharmacy, environmental protection, forensic analysis);

to process, evaluate and interpret obtained experimental data.
