The course provides basic overview of geographical data processing and interdisciplinary use of the geographical information systems. In the practical part of the course the emphasis is mainly on the use of the ArcGIS (including ArcGIS 3D Analyst) and Global Mapper software.

Know the basics of GIS.

Process and analyze different types of geographical data.

Work with software GIS tools of the ArcGIS system (including 3D Analyst and Spatial Analyst) and Global Mapper.
