Electrochemical Processes course for bachelor's degree students provides comprehensive overview of the options of the technical electrochemistry also outside of the electrochemical production of chemical elements and compounds. The fundamentals and application possibilities of the technical electrochemistry will be explained, especially in modern technical processes, such as engineering - electrochemical machining methods, electrochemical deposition of paint and electroplating, electrotechnics - electro-chemical polishing of metals and alloys, and the use of electrochemistry to protect the environment especially for treatment-process of the wastewater and drinking water preparation or gaining of the secondary raw materials from waste water from surface treatment of metals and alloys. Important and rapidly developing area of production and storage of electrical energy such as primary cells, batteries, fuel cells will be also explained.
