Annotation -
The course is focused on the formation of mineral deposits (especially minerals) in different geological formations and at different pT conditions. One part of this course provides the geochemical evaluation of ore deposits, possible technological processing of raw materials depending on their type, origin and physical properties. The course also deals with the possible use of natural inorganic materials (amorphous and crystalline in micro-and nano-scale) in technological processes.
Last update: TAJ108 (28.11.2013)
Aim of the course -

Students will be able to:

understand the basic types of minerals and their genesis;

describe the basic technologies of mineral resources;

propose an appropriate technology based on the type of natural inorganic material (amorphous, crystalline, nano, etc.).
