The aim of this subject is to teach students how to use advanced, computational and manager techniques of softwares. The students will be then able to process and handle their data, demonstrate them graphically, write down report and to present it, utilizing at maximum the possibilities of automation and cooperation of single programs and softwares.

The students will be able to:

  • Use programs of MS Office at advanced level including add-ons functions for processing data, writing reports and diploma thesis and their presentation.
  • Examine course of functions, to solve nonlinear equations, to solve systems of linear and nonlinear equations, to use contingency tables and basics of optimization.

Studenti mají na jejich řešení celkem 3 hodiny času, řeší je na počítači, mohou používat nápovědu a své písemné poznámky.

2. Operating and network systems: Windows, managers, configuration, access rights, networks, antiviral programs

3. Text processor (MS Word) - advanced techniques of text handling, formatting using styles, writing equations, schemes

4. Text processor - user styles, heredity of styles attributes, utilization of templates, quick parts

5. Text processor - advanced techniques: objects, import of graphs and data, lists, indexes, long documents

6. Text processor - macro recording, creation and storing user tools, styles and macros to templates, their usage

7. Spreadsheet program (Excel) - preliminary test, cooperation of Microsoft programes - embedding versus linking objects and data

8. Spreadsheet program - Repetition, extension of basic knowledge, space blocks, work with several spreadsheets

9. Spreadsheet program - graph possibilities, mathematical calculations, equation systems, solver

10. Spreadsheet program - statistical calculations, data processing and analysis, linear and non-linear regression

11. Spreadsheet program - data import, export a processing, databases in Excel, advanced techniques
