An individual research project specified by the supervisor at the beginning of the semester is the main goal of this course. Student works on a given issue separately. Student regularly consults the work and the obtained results with the supervisor. The work generally involves the construction of an experimental apparatus, its startup, calibration of individual parts, etc. An integral part of the work is the validation of analytical methods and finding a suitable method for evaluating the acquired results. In the case of works focused on mathematical modeling of chemical processes, the student practically verifies the capabilities of the standard software or develops a separate computer program. He also analyzes the experimental data and collects physical data that are necessary for the identification of mathematical models. The master thesis theme will continue on the topic of this project.
