The course is designed for students who want to obtain fundamental knowledge of microelectronics - the properties of basic electronic structures and elements, the integration of electronics structures, the development and outline of microelectronics technologies together with ultra high scale integration structures. The course is completed by laboratory, where students will measure basic parameters of semiconductor elements and integrated structures.

Students will be able to:

Know the properties of basic electronic elements and structures (diode, unipolar and bipolar transistors, elements with quantum effects.

Know the basic processes and technological operations together with materials that are applied in the production of integrated circuits.

Know the basic structures and parameters of digital integrated circuits.

Measure the fundamental parameters of simple electronics elements and structures.
