The following tasks students will carry out during semester 1. Preparation of metallic nanoparticles by reduction in micellar systems. 2. Preparation of CdSe quantum dots. 3. Preparation of Au nanofilms and their characterization by AFM. 4. Preparation of nanofillers by organophilization of layered silicates. 5. Determination of porosity and elastic properties of nanoporous materials. 6. Characterization of nanoparticles by laser diffraction. 7. Characterization of nanoparticles by SEM. 8. Determination of temperature and enthalpy of melting of metallic nanoparticles by DSC. 9. Determination of surface energy of plasma-modified polymers. 10.
