The course will provide students with detailed information on the practical aspects of the use of instrumental methods for the analysis of hydrocarbons and other organic hetero-compounds in environmental media (air, water, soil). Attention is paid to the separation (GC, LC) and spectral (MS, FTIR, UV) analytical methods. Practical examples are provided to explained the methods of sampling, sample treatment and concentration, and the final analysis.
