Annotation -
The main goal of this course is to explain the most common subsurface remediation technologies. There will be shown many examples of full-scale remediation projects in the Czech Republic. The student will be guided through the whole remediation process from administrative beginning to successfully cleaned site.
Last update: TAJ240 (18.11.2013)
Aim of the course -

Students will be able to 1) suggest most suitable remediation strategy for a given contaminated site, 2) prepare effective laboratory and pilot-scale experiments, 3) suggest effective installation scheme and operation characteristics for selected remediation technology.
