Students will be able to: Describe and explain the principles of fundamental methods of structural analysis: vibrational, mass and NMR spectrometries, and X-ray diffractometry. Describe and explain the principles of microscopic techniques: optical, electron and scanning probe. Describe and explain the fundamental principles of surface analysis, characterization of colloidal dispersions, properties of chemical sensors and lab-on-a-chip instruments. |
