The course is intended to familiarize students with selected software tools for measurement and control. The most of the semester discusses mainly NI LabVIEW environment whose properties are to most of students of ICT Prague easily understandable. LabVIEW has a implemented "graphical" programming language that provides convenient and rapid application development for measurement and control in research areas and also in practice. It is not very complex and fundamental work with it can be handled without the knowledge of high-level programming languages. During the lectures and exercises are discussed possibilities and options of connectivity of measurement equipment to PC.

To create basic program structure and will know function NI LabVIEW environment.

To create a simple program in NI LabVIEW.

To know methods and possibilities of communication with the laboratory and industrial measurement devices.

1) Introduction to LabVIEW - Virtual instrumentation - the basics

2) LabVIEW - Structures (using loops in the program)

3) LabVIEW - Array + Graph (data tables and views)

4) LabVIEW 4 - Cluster + String (works with non-numeric data types)

5) LabVIEW 5 - File I / O + Report (storing data in LabVIEW)

6) LabVIEW 6 - Subv, Icon / Connector Pane (sub-creation exe file)

7) LabVIEW 7 - Vision (Image Analysis in LabVIEW)

8) LabVIEW 8 - Communications with MATLAB MathScript, call external code (DLL, ActiveX)

9) Communication busses used for data collection RS232, RS485, GPIB, LAN. Description of communication in LabVIEW - (NI-VISA).

10) Modern measurement device. Types of available drivers for instruments (VI, IVI, DLL).

11) The installation procedure.

12) Possibilities other environments: HP-VEE, LabWindows CVI, ControlPanel

13) IMAQ Vision Builder. Automatic image analysis using LabVIEW

Student v rámci samostatné práce vytvoří program na téma dohodnuté s vyučujícím na začátku semestru. Tento program bude v závěru semestru klasifikován.

Student musí absolvovat závěrečný test s hodnocením minimálně klasifikačním stupněm E.
