Annotation -
The aim of the course is to familiarize students with the fundamentals of financial management, basic financial decision-making problems and methodological approaches used by the financial analysis and development of financial plans. Another objective of the course is to familiarize students with the financial processes and options to solve basic financial trouble.Moreover it is to explain the nature and functioning of financial markets, financial markets association with finances of business. Another ambition is to explain the nature of the explanations of financial products and their applications in corporate finance (or . personal finances).

Aim of the course -

After the successful completion students will be able to:

Understand the essence of financial management.

Master time value of money and apply it. Understand the nature of risks and uncertainties. Master the calculation of risk indicators and apply them in practice.

Master the technique of investment decision and apply it to practice. Distinguish investment in bonds and shares.Master technique of portfolio.

Distinguish between different types of dividend policy. Focus on financial markets. Manage valuation techniques.

1. Overview of the financial system, the primary and secondary markets, documents of financial markets.

2. General characteristics of companies (private, mixed, capital).

3. The joint-stock company, types of shares price of shares, subscription rights, the distribution of profits.

4. What does it mean to invest money, present value, yield to maturity, investments in bonds and other debt instruments.

5. Valuation of securities, dividend forecasting, the level of capitalization.

6. Criteria for evaluation of investment opportunities, risks and returns.

7. Advanced portfolio theory, optimal portfolio choice.

8. Factor beta and the CAPM, market and non-market risk.

9. Participation certificates, investment companies and investment funds.

10.Stock exchanges and exchange trade, indicators of trends in prices of securities.

11.Types of speculation on the stock market, speculation technique with options.

12.The project, project evaluation, sensitivity analysis, simulation "Monte Carlo".

13.Funding Corporation and efficient markets theory of rational expectations.

14.International finance, financing foreign operations.
