Annotation -
The course approaches the basic phenomena of cultural, social and economic development of European civilization, and acquaints students with the terminology and principles of historical science. The course extends the basic context of the historical development of art history courses, designed especially for students of restoring and preservation.

Students will be able to:

Individual orientation in the professional terminology of historical science and the historical development of European civilization.

The ability of interdisciplinary communication, which is particularly important for restorers.

Active participation in lessons: 50%

The colloquium (interview): 50%. The theme of the colloquium, the student selects individually (themes in the syllabus 2-14), selection and preparation methods consult (e-mail).
