The course is designed for beginners, therefore no knowledge of Russian is required. The aim of the subject is to achieve A1 level according to CERF ( Common European Reference Framework).
Aim of the course -

Students will be able to :

  • use Russian alphabet (reading, writing)
  • provide their basic personal information and speak about their families
  • discuss their hobbies, families, friends, jobs in simple terms
  • read and understand simple texts
  • use numerals 1-100, days of week, peronal pronouns, reflexive pronouns, past and future tense
  • conjugate two basic types of Russian verbs
