The subject is focused on the following topics: 1. Introduction to the physico-chemical, structural and chemical properties of powder materials. 2. Methods of preparation of powder materials (diffusion in the powder materials). 3. Methods of precipitation of little soluble salts. 4. Preparation of the reactions in the solid phase, the importance of the reactivity of the raw materials. 5. The issue of powder and polycrystalline substances as raw materials in the preparation of powder materials. 6. The overview of inorganic pigments (classification, properties and use). Fillers. 7. The basic white pigments (TiO2, ZnO, ZnS, ZnSBaSO4). 8. The basic color pigments (classification, production). 9. Black pigments. 10. The distribution of special inorganic pigments (ceramic, pearlescent and shiny, luminescent).
