Subject is focused on deep understanding of the relations between structure of metallic materials, their deffects and resulting physical and mechanical properties. Physical background of plastic deformation, physical degradation processes and selected processing technologies of metals are presented.
Aim of the course -
Last update: Novák Pavel prof. Ing. Ph.D. (13.07.2018)

Students will be able to:

  • Understand the physical background of metallurgical processes.
  • Describe the phenomena during physical degradation of metallic materials.
  • Apply the theoretical knowledge in design of new materials and in innovation of processing technologies.
