Annotation -
The Lectures on Chemistry of heterocyclic compounds aim to introduce the preparation and reactivity of various simple heterocyclic compounds to the students. Based on the knowledge of the reactivity of heterocyclic compounds they should be able to design a synthesis of heterocyclic systems with a help of chemical literature and databases.
Last update: Fialová Jana (24.04.2020)
Aim of the course -

Students will be able to:

describe the reactivity of basic heterocycles

depict syntheses of the basic heterocycles

suggest a synthesis of complicated heterocyclic systems using literature

Last update: Fialová Jana (24.04.2020)
Course completion requirements -

Students have to propose a synthesis of two or three complicated heterocyclic compounds according to the assignment and present and defend it in front of the lecturer and students of this lecture.
