The first block of the subject deals with a) chemical equilibrium and chemical kinetics of combustion reactions, b) reaction mechanisms of fuel oxidation, c) reaction mechanisms of pollutant formation, d) modern fuel utilization. The second block of the subject covers topics e) technology - reduction of nitrogen oxides (selective catalytic reduction), f) volatile organic compounds (low temperature catalytic combustion), g) flue gas recirculation technology, h) chemical loop technology, i) oxy-combustion technology. |
