The subject will be realized in the form of the nth day course (n >> 4). The course content will be as follows:
1. At the beginning of the course the students will learn about the structure and properties of the current state-of-the-art materials that are already used or have significant potential in the optoelectronic applications. The main stress will be placed on the substances that are used to fabricate devices related to light generation and conversion (polymers, conjugated structures, nanofibers, perovskite structures, MOFs, etc.). 2. The second day of the course will focus on description of construction and operation of optoelectronic devices based on the previously mentioned organic and hybrid materials. Current trends in the field will be also presented. 3. The third day of the course will be conceived as a conference. The first part of the conference will be dedicated to the presentations of invited speakers from the leading Czech scientific groups that are dealing with the development of materials and devices for optoelectronic applications (UK, CTU, ICT, AVČR). The second part will consist of student presentations dealing with specific optoelectronic applications according to their choice. 4. The last day of the course will be dedicated to student classification that will be in the form of a colloquial oral exam based testing the knowledge acquired in the previous days |
