The focus of this course, both in the interpretation and discussions with doctoral students, will be devoted to the penetration of sustainable development into managerial activities at all levels of management, especially business entities. The EU's green policy creates and will continue to create pressure to apply sustainable development in corporate activities and will mean a significant competitive advantage, strengthening the social prestige of companies, etc.

  • získá přehled o vývoji péče o životní prostředí na podnikové úrovni
  • vyzná se v aktuálních manažerských přístupech zaměřených na péči o životní prostředí na podnikové úrovni
  • bude schopen monitorovat aktuální poznatky týkající se systémů environmentálního managementu, získávat poznatky typu best practice z předních firem na poli udržitelného rozvoje, na jejich základě bude schopen rozvíjet metodické přístupy a praktiky zaměřené:
* na šetrné nakládání s limitními zdroji (energiemi, vodou, surovinami),
* efektivní využívání disponibilních materiálních kapacit,
* vývoj výrobků ve smyslu Cradle to Cradle,
* cest recyklace, substituce problémových materiálů pro životní prostředí,
  • může fungovat ve výzkumných, či vývojových týmech věnujících se tématice digitální transformace, kde může poskytovat užitečné poznatky směrem k udržitelnému rozvoji,
  • bude schopen připravit a podílet se na realizaci programů posunu firemní kultury či výukových cyklů pro vyšší a vrcholový management ve směru New Green Deal,
  • posílí své prezentační a argumentační schopnosti z pronikání udržitelného rozvoje do managmentu pro účely představení svých výzkumných výstupů na konferencích, komunikaci se zadavateli grantů, popř. i pro účely osvětové činnosti

The condition for successful completion of the course is the elaboration of a seminar paper, which will take the form of an article in order to link the theoretical basis with current issues. The second part is the student's ability to moderate a professional discussion on a selected topic, always on a given theory, approach, concept or problem.
