Annotation -
The subject focuses on improving and expanding language and communication skills in general English, interpretation of text and listening materials, presentation of students' opinions and their ability to reason. Topics include human activities, personality, family, history, language, books and films, time and money. The final level of proficiency is B2+/C1 according to CERF (Common European Reference Framework).

Aim of the course -

Students will be able to

• understand and interpret authentic texts (newspaper articles, extracts from literature) and listening materials

• make arguments in a discussion using all acquired language skills

• use proper and precise vocabulary

• write an article

• write a book/film review
