The subject is focused on improving the knowledge of English grammar and expanding the vocabulary, on developing communication skills for everyday communication. The aim is to achieve B1 level according to CERF (Common European Reference Framework).

  • express possibility, ability, necessity and obligation in everyday communication
  • ask for help and advice, give advice or recommendation
  • express their own opinion, agreement and disagreement
  • describe present and past habits and states
  • make plans and speak about the future
  • describe people, places, situations and events in spoken and written form
  • compare properties, characteristics, quality, actions, etc.
  • write informal letters

3. Discussion: giving opinion, agreeing and disagreeing.

4. Money. Present perfect and past simple.

5. Changing lives. Present perfect simple and continuous. Strong adjectives.

6. Writing an informal letter.

7. Transport. Comparatives and superlatives.
