Annotation -
The subject is focused on the development of the correct use of grammar and vocabulary, and the enhancement of oral interaction and writing. The topics include food and cooking, family, money, transport, phone language, sport and relationships. The aim is to achieve B1 level according to CERF (Common European Reference Framework).

Aim of the course -

Students will be able to :

  • express possibility, ability, necessity and obligation in everyday communication
  • ask for help and advice, give advice or recommendation
  • express their own opinion, agreement and disagreement
  • describe present and past habits and states
  • make plans and speak about the future
  • describe people, places, situations and events in spoken and written form
  • compare properties, characteristics, quality, actions, etc.
  • write informal letters

4. Spending money; Present perfect and past simple; Money.

5. Changing lives; Present perfect + "for/since", present perfect continuous; Strong adjectives.

6. Writing an informal letter/e-mail.

7. Survive the drive; Comparatives and superlatives; Transport.

8. Men, women and children; Articles: "a/an, the", no article; Collocations: verbs/adjectives + prepositions.
