Annotation -
The aim of the course is to enhance students´communication skills in English. It concentrates on interpretation of texts and recordings, on presentation of opinions and reaching agreement. The topics cover emotions, crossing cultures, technology, travel, numbers and measurements, punishment, eating and drinking. The final knowledge of language is at C1+ level according to CERF (Common European Reference Framework).

Students will be able to

• understand and interpret authentic texts (newspaper articles, extracts from literature) and recordings

• give their opinions on a topic discussed with their partners using appropriate register

• use appropriate and precise vocabulary
