Annotation -
The subject is addressed primarily to the students of the bachelor level. A student will be acquainted how to express quantitatively properties of chemical individuals from the point of physics, technology, analysis and the environmental aspects. He gains the overview about sources of experimental data, prediction methods and publishing of scientific information. Each student will solve an individual project and the results of the project will be published on the internet.

Aim of the course -

Students will be able to:

Gain physico-chemical data from open sources needed for the description of chemical processes

Predict these data in cases when experimental data are unknown

Find required data from the literature and electronic databases and learn how to create personal web pages

Solve independently a simple project devoted to the topical thermodynamic problem and present the results on the own web page
