Annotation -
The Metrology lectures focus on the basics of legal and practical metrology of fundamental quantities. Traceability chains, metrological terminology and principles of etalons are presented. Attention is paid to the modern trends in metrology as well as to the history of metrology. In the laboratory exercises, the students get acquainted with calibration and traceability chain in metrology of selected fundamental quantities (mass, pressure, temperature, electric resistance) as well as with accuracy methodology and protection against interference in metrology of electric quantities.
