Annotation -
The goal of this course is to give the sudent an advanced basis of the main topics of the cell biology, respecting topics presented in the current courses of Biology I, Microbiology and the topics required by the consequent courses of the Department of Biotechnology. The key intention is to show the relationship between cell organisation and cell function. The development of the capacity to use correctly specialized terminology as well as advanced understanding of the cell as a single cell organism or a building unit of a macrooranisms is a parallel goal.

Aim of the course -

Students will be able to use the facts of respective topics to describe the prokaryotic and eukaryotic cell in general, and marker cell processes, cell adaptation / diferentiation, intercellular interactions… in particular; in addition, the capacity to use foreign sources of information should be developed in parallel.
