Annotation -
Processing nonnumeric data. The most important parts are the basics of the relational databases (MS Access), image processing (NIS 4.1) and multimedial aplications in the science (Microsoft windows encoder). Practical exhibition and work with digital microscope Hirox KH-7700 and image processor NIS 3.0.

Students will be able to:

  • work with image processor NIS 3.0 and digital microscope Hirox KH-7700.
  • create simple relational databases in MS Access.

2. MS Excel, numeric and graphic data, keyboard artefacs.

3. MS Excel, using macro programs and statistical modules. Working with images, rester and vector image, image processing.

5. Digitalization and image analysis, morphometry and colorimetry.

6. Image processors LUCIA, NIS.

7. Virtualization of the real image data, digital mikroscope Hirox KH-7700.

8. Image database in MS Access.

9. MS Access, creating simple relational database.

10. MS Access, creating simple scientific database.

11. Using professional scientific (chemical, biochemical, food) databases, virtual microscopy.

12. Multimedial data - animation.

13. Multimedial data - virtual image data.
