Annotation -
The course aims at improving the physical chemistry understanding of structure of organic compounds and mechanisms of organic chemistry reactions. It is important to understand the thermodynamics of equilibrium reactions, including intermolecular interaction, solvation and supramolecular chemistry. The kinetics of reaction networks is presented, including catalytic cycles. Eletronic structure of molecules is studied with respect to photochemical reactivity and organic material properties.
