Annotation -
Only DSP students who have not completed the M217005 Water Management in Industry course in Master's degree can register for this subject. This course deepens the student`s knowledge of water management in industry. It deals with such subjects as water sources in industry; industrial wastewaters (sources, approaches to their treatment, legislation concerning their discharge, etc.) The problems of water management in the most water-intensive industries are thoroughly discussed. The course deals with such topics as water consumption, typical pollutants in wastewaters or suitable techniques of wastewater treatment in concrete industrial branches. The scope of this course can be adjusted to the research orientation of a particular PhD thesis.
