The aim of the subject is to provide knowledge about transport and fate of chemicals in the environment. The subject provides, in particular, information on the origin and the fate of chemical substances in the atmosphere, hydrosphere and pedosphere. A great deal of attention is paid to abiotic and biotic environmental reactions and equilibria. Learning outcomes and competences are that students will be able to get information on complex issues of chemical substances in all spheres of the environment and will provide information on current trends in environmental protection.
