The aim of the course is to revise basic knowledge of mathematics, especially in operations with fractions, powers and roots, solving simple equations and inequalities, working with functions and basics of geometry.

3. Elementary functions and their properties.

4. Algebraic equations of one variable. Linear and quadratic equations.

5. Exponential and logarithmic equations.

6. Trigonometric functions and trigonometric equations.

7. Linear and quadratic inequalities.

8. Absolute value inequalities. Graphic solution of inequalities.

9. Arithmetic and geometric sequences.

10. Analytic geometry in plane. Descriptions of line.

11. General equation of an ellipse, hyperbola and parabola.

12. Basic concepts of stereometry, lines and planes.

13. Various examples of algebraic expressions.

14. Practical problems of school mathematics.

Learning outcomes -

Students will be able to simplify algebraic expressions, solve simple algebraic equations (linear, quadratic, logarithmic, exponential, trigonometric etc.), they will understand the problems of elementary functions and the foundations of geometry.
