Annotation -
Course "Chemical and biochemical membrane technologies" extends the knowledge of students in the field of industrial applications of membrane processes in classical chemical technology and also biotechnology. Attendees will receive information about membrane processes for treatment of potable and technological water, production of chemical compounds including specialties. Membrane biotechnologies designed for food treatment and pharmacy will be also presented.

Students will be able to:

  • be oriented in chemical and biochemical membrane processes used for technological production.
  • understand main importance of membrane and requiremnet on it in individual processes. They will understand the membrane process impact on production cost of whole technology.
