Annotation -
Laboratory Course in Water Technology follows up the courses of Biological Wastewater Treatment, Anaerobic Digestion and Water Treatment. Students can apply their teoretical knowledge from these courses and will practise the basic methods of water and wastewater treatment in laboratory scale.

Requirements to the exam - Czech

Laboratoř Technologie vody je ukončena klasifikovaným zápočtem. Ten student získá po absolvování všech předepsaných laboratorních pracech a skládá se z jednotlivých známek získaných

1. ze vstupního zkoušení u jednotlivých prací

2. z protokolu z jednotlivých prací

3. ze závěrečného testu, který ověří znalosti získané během laboratoří

Pokud student napíše Závěrečný test na známku nedostatečně (F), může psát dva opravné testy.

Learning outcomes -

Students will be able to:

  • use their knowledge from previous studies in the field of wastewater treatment and drinking water treatment and supply on specific technological applications
  • apply basic laboratory skills acquired in the previous study and learn new laboratory techniques used in wastewater treatment technology and water treatment
  • evaluate the results obtained during the measurement of individual laboratory work and draw appropriate conclusions
