The course focuses on gaining of theoretical skills in the issue of environmental sampling. Students will acquire basic knowledge of sampling preparation, security during sampling, modifications applied to samples, transport of samples and a variety of lots of analytical limitations. This course represents a theoretical basis for further practical subject "Environmental Sampling: Laboratory" and is taught during the spring/summer semester. The course is closely dedicated to area of sampling solid materials, groundwater, surface water and wastewater. Students will become familiar with different sampling techniques and the most commonly used types of samplers. For successful completion of the course students have to meet the requirements of the written and oral part of exam.
